Virtually all of the world’s vineyards are located between the latitudes of 28° and 50°, both northern and southern hemispheres.

The most northerly vineyard in the northern hemisphere is at Horten, Norway at 59.7°. The wine is not commercially available.

The most southerly vineyards in the southern hemisphere are in Central Otago, New Zealand at 45°

A degree of latitude is approximately 69 miles.

Winemakers on the Month

Every month, we select a winemaker and showcase a range of his / her wines.

Most of the wines will be available by the glass, including a special cuvee or vintage coming straight from the winery for us. This is a great opportunity to sample wines from some of the world's best winemakers.

We will have 5 different bottles available by the glass so you can make your own personal informal wine tasting on an ad-hoc basis. Why not pop in with your friends and order a few glasses to savour the delights of our producer of the month!
